You hack at the nearby orc, severing its hand from its arm before it can pull its blade free.
Then you face the others, grabbing a flaming branch… One, two, three fall screaming at your feet.
You are barely aware of your surroundings, or of enemy blows. Murderous rage has taken over.
When at last you stop, the fire is spreading around the clearing. Dara stands with a look of horror and disgust on her face.
“Now to the base, to finish them off,” you snarl. “Come on.”
“Not like this,” she says, and walks away.
You watch her go.
