With Tox’ar at your shoulder, you face the orcs. Polki punches one of them in the back of the head, but to little avail. Naya leaps into the air, taking the form of a flaming bird. She sweeps past, distracting them.

Then Tox’ar beheads an orc.

You have the upper hand. Until — disaster. Sword blows have weakened the bridge. The rope to your right snaps.

You grab on, as do the others, and fall yelling into the rocks on the other side. You lose sight of Polki and the others, sliding down cliff-face, clinging on desperately.

Then you lose consciousness…
