You breathe deeply. Despite your initial shock, your new face is quite beautiful. You were never vain, and never felt insecure about your looks, but you didn’t think you were gorgeous, either. But now…
Dara interrupts, “Let’s hope your face is the only thing that has changed. I’ve never seen someone transform into an elf after a revival before. It seems ominous, but — ”
“But maybe it’s a blessing?” you blurt out. Aside from your elvin features, nothing else has changed about you.
“Let’s keep moving. There’s no time to waste,” Bruno says. He seems determined to avoid your gaze.
What do you do?
- Just keep moving like Bruno says. You’ll be okay.
- Ask Bruno what’s wrong. He seems more disturbed than he ought to be.
