FEATURES OF THE CITADEL.ONE APP

  1. Non-Custodial

Citadel. One wallet is completely decentralized and non-custodial, meaning that you and only you have full control over your private keys. This non-custodial feature is present on the platform and on the mobile app. What this means is that signing into your Citadel. One account on the mobile app would not import your addresses automatically. This is to ensure the platform is completely non-custodial and decentralized, and only you have access to your keys.

2. Quick Sign Up

Citadel.one app features a quick and easy way to create a Citadel. One account and start your amazing staking journey. Simply use your email address (anonymous email services like Protonmail are fully supported as well), or use easier methods of signup like Facebook, Apple ID, Google and LinkedIn. Citadel. One does not collect your passwords if you use Google, LinkedIn, Apple ID or Facebook.

For more information on our sign up process, kindly read our articles on sign up with anonymous email and quick sign up.

3. Biometric Security

Security is a very important feature of any app, especially one that helps you manage your finances. Citadel. One has integrated an extremely secure security lock feature, using the biometric scanner available on your mobile phone.

It works with existing fingerprints, so you don’t need to add a new one to use the feature.

To enhance the biometric security, we have also added a 6-number passphrase that will be required to unlock the phone should you not decide to use the biometrics feature. (A 6-digit password is over 100x more secure than a 4-digit password. This goes to show we really value security!)

4. Bottom Toolbar

From the bottom toolbar, you can access a lot of the app’s features, including the staking rewards page, settings page, fiat on-ramp (coming soon!) and more. Tapping the icon on the extreme left takes you to your wallet view. Tapping the second icon from the left takes you to your staking rewards page. Tapping the third icon from the left takes you to the fiat on-ramp page (the fiat on-ramp is coming soon!), and the last option at the extreme right takes you to the settings page.

5. Supported Tokens

On the homepage, you can see all of the supported tokens on the Citadel. One app. The Citadel. One app currently supports the following tokens:

  1. BAND
  2. ATOM (Cosmos)
  3. Ethereum (ETH)
  4. ICON
  5. IOST
  6. Secret Network (SCRT)
  7. Tether USD (USDT)
  8. Tezos (XTZ)

6 Settings Page

The settings page is where all the controls for the app live. There, you can make a lot of changes to the application and how it works. Here is a brief overview of what each function does:

  • Wallets: Here, you can add and remove various addresses for various networks and tokens. You can add up to 20 addresses for each network!
  • Rewards notifications: This enables the app to notify you every time you have staking rewards to collect.
  • Push notifications: This settings option turns on or off the ability to to receive notifications for rewards or deposits.
  • Security: This settings option allows you to turn biometric security on or off.
  • Community: This option gives you links to everywhere Citadel. One is available. We advise you use these links to not fall victim to impersonators.
  • About us: This option tells you the Citadel. One mission, and what we’re about.
  • Log out: This option logs you out of all active sessions within the Citadel. One app.

7. Network Overall Page

This page gives you detailed information about your staking. It tells you how much you have staked, how much reward you’ve gotten, the node you’re staking in and so much more information. In addition, you can view and change the parameters of the metrics you see, so it’s not fixed to what you see alone.

8. Transactions History

This page shows you all the information you need to know about your transactions, the fees paid on them as well as a blockchain explorer link to the exact transaction hash, which gives even more details about the transaction. Users can aso add comments to their transactions to allow for easy sorting or just to know what transactions are for what.

9. Staking page

This page shows you what networks you have stakes in, as well as the amount you have staked and your available balances. In addition, it also shows you your staking rewards in a customizable time frame, frozen balances and what nodes you are using to stake, all in one clean view.

10. Staking rewards page

This feature of the app allows you to keep tabs on how much reward your staking positions have made. It shows your rewards for each network in a very beautiful and detailed view, and you can click on each tab to see even more information about your stake, and claim your rewards.

In addition, users can set custom time frames to view the exact amount of rewards they have earned in that specific period of time, which is an added bonus!

Also, users can equally receive push notifications for their rewards! The notifications will tell the user when a reward is ready to be collected, and will come in for all the networks a user owns stakes in on the Citadel. One app.

These are the features of the Citadel. One app! It is powerful, versatile and allows you to take your Citadel. One account everywhere you go.

Don’t forget to download the Citadel. One app on your Android or Apple devices today and get more out of your staking!

About Citadel.one

Citadel.one is a non-custodial Proof-of-Stake platform for the management and storage of crypto assets. Users can create public addresses for all supported networks with one seed phrase, connect their Ledger or Trezor device, or import an address generated by another wallet.

The analytical dashboard provides relevant information on wallets’ balances and networks’ main metrics. In Citadel.one, we standardize the semantics, making interactions with the platform as easy as possible. The same goes for network metrics. By using universal terms, we are making it easier for users to understand and compare networks.

One of the main functions of the Citadel.one platform is participation in the PoS consensus — users can stake and delegate their assets, claim rewards, and follow the latest network proposals in the voting tab.

Citadel.one offers its users instant cryptocurrency exchange services that allow fast and secure crypto assets swap. It is also possible to buy and sell crypto with a credit or debit card. Citadel.one users can track rewards, withdrawals, transfers, and deposits across all supported networks and add comments to these transactions.

Among PoS platforms, Citadel.one supports BAND network($BAND) Secret Network ($SCRT), Cosmos ($ATOM), ICON ($ICX), IOST, Orbs, and Tezos ($XTZ). We also support Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tether ($USDT) for our users’ convenience. Mobile and desktop versions, new networks, including Polkadot and Ontology, are scheduled for the upcoming updates. Furthermore, delving into the idea of true decentralization, we envision Citadel.one a decentralized autonomous organization and a genuinely community-owned platform in the nearest future.
