How to Deposit to the Dashboard using Metamask

This is a guide to walk you through the process of depositing tokens into the CSM dashboard so that you can swap them for HEX (in-game currency) or CSM (Intellectual Property Token of City States). This will specifically explain how to deposit funds without a connected wallet which will require submitting a claim.

Deposit tokens from your Metamask Wallet

Please note that although this example uses BNB, this method will work with any tokens or coins supported on our dashboard.

To start, login to the dashboard and follow the steps below.

If you have integrated your Metamask wallet you can select the above option on the left. If not you will need to select the second on the right. To read more about integrating your wallet, please view our guide here.

Paste the deposit address of CSM to the search bar. Place the desired amount of CSM to be sent, then press “Next”. Metamask will ask you again, showing also the gas fee needed to process this transaction. If this is alright to you, simply press “Confirm”.

One also needs to take note of the Transaction ID, to check this, we click on the “Activity” and click on the transaction made, as shown in STEP 1 below. Clicking the encircled logo to copy the transaction ID as shown in STEP 2.

If you have not integrated your wallet, you may need to submit a claim so funds can be allocated to your account, to so so follow the instructions below for the coin or token you wish to claim.
