Motoko Bootcamp is Taking A Trip to Florida 🌴

If there is one thing we’ve learned during the previous Bootcamp is that physical events are powerful. The energy, the atmosphere, the sense of community, being in the same room with other people, sharing an experience together, feeling the excitement and anticipation build… there is nothing like it!

As we’ve already announced, the next Motoko Bootcamp will take place in less than 3 months: May 8–14th, 2023! This places the Bootcamp only 1 week before the 1st ICP Community Conference (16th-17th) and the Bitcoin 2023 Miami conference (May 18th-20th).
Our team will be there, in South Florida (near Miami), during the Bootcamp and we’re inviting all students, mentors, and Bootcamp enthusiasts to join us.
What is the offer?
We are still in the early days of planification and don’t have the exact details figured out yet (location, prices, and details of activities…). If you are someone living in South Florida or you have contacts over there, please reach out!
The offer is simple, we offer one package (price TBD) and then we take care of everything — we will provide:
- A nice location to stay and rest during the week. 🛌
- A shared office for all Bootcamper, so we call work and build together. 👨‍💼
- Delicious food & coffee break for your brain to stay powered throughout the week. ⚡️
We are also planning on having various activities such as:
- Morning workouts 🏋️
- Games sessions 🎲
- Late-night coding (for the braves) 👨‍💻
- Night out 🍻
And of course, the main point of the week is to learn how to build on the Internet Computer; using a new programming language called Motoko. You will directly benefit from being at the physical edition by connecting with us, learning from experienced entrepreneurs within the ecosystem, and having access to direct mentorship!
Partnership with ICP Community Conference
Code & State is excited to announce the 1st ever ICP Community Conference! The 2-day annual ecosystem event is scheduled for May 16th-17th in southern Florida, just 2 days after the Bootcamp. The conference will showcase, educate, and connect entrepreneurs building on the Internet Computer. Check out the dedicated article for more information.
