This image shows my IDE which has visual clues about which files git is ignoring, they appear more transparent than other file names. On the image I show two files, one is the repo's .gitignore and the other one is the exclude file. The idea is showing that files that are not necessarily on the repo's .gitignore are in fact ignored by git.
