CodeChain Faucet is a tool for obtaining free CCC for the Corgi test network. To read about the Corgi test network itself, give this link a visit.

Before going on, you will need a wallet to receive CCC. Please refer to Jae Won Park’s article on how to create one.

Once you have created your wallet and signed in, it will lead you to the main wallet page.

On the top right-hand corner, make sure that it says ‘TESTNET’ instead of ‘MAINNET’. You can change which network’s wallet you are looking at with a few clicks.

Once you are in the correct page, click ‘COPY’ in the Address 1 box of your CCC Address. You have now copied your public CCC address that can be used on the testnet. Please keep this address somewhere easily accessible, such as a notepad, as you will need it later on in this guide.

Next, head on to CodeChain Faucet to receive some free CCC.

Next, go over to Facebook and uploaded a requesting post. Be sure to include your public CCC Address in the post. To get your post’s url, click on the date or time of the post.

After retrieving the link to your post, insert it on the faucet website.

Once you click ‘Get CCC’, you will see the following:

After waiting for a moment, you will be able to check on the Explorer that 1 million CCC (or some other arbitrary amount)is successfully transferred to your account.

You should also confirm that the correct amount of CCC was indeed charged into your wallet as shown below:

With the CCC that was charged on the Corgi testnet, it is now possible to test the capabilities of CodeChain for yourself. You can also try it yourself by creating a CodeChain Wallet now.
