It’s official … the SEC has approved spot-ETH ETFs as of May 23, 2024.

Their word of caution was that they will not start trading right away. While some Ethereum-related or futures trusts and funds are reacting to this news already (above), Much like what happened with spot Bitcoin ETFs, their approval dates and trading dates were anti-climactic. But it was not until May 20, 2024 that Bitcoin had its moment in the sun. Here’s why:
