Emphasis on Frontier Markets & Agro Commodities
Demand for commodities is not only exogenous. Population in frontier markets is growing at a fast pace, along with purchase power.
Today, we are collaborating with farmers in countries like Kenya & Zambia to provide crops for national and regional consumption.
The world is changing, and many of the commodities required to sustain modern life are available in frontier markets but often underproduced due to lack of financing.
Our role as a trader will not be limited to purchasing from local producers, we will also invest in local production facilities in order to more effectively manage the output.
For the time being, our operations will remain private. We are focused on strengthening relationships with the current off-takers and financiers in our pipeline.
This approach is designed to help us manage the risks associated with investing in capital-intensive projects at this stage of our development and to provide an efficient means of generating revenue from those investments once they become operational.
Oil & Gas Trading
Our oil & gas trading business is capital intensive, and we know that’s an obstacle for many businesses.
But we’re leveraging our access to credit in order to pre-finance oil production where needed and purchase refined petroleum products from countries where they are produced in order to transport them to countries where they are required.
Our initial focus will be on Jet A1, TS-1, Mazut & Diesel — all of which are highly in demand, especially in Mainland China, South East Asia & Africa. As our business grows, we expect to supply a wider range of commodities.
