Nancy Pelosi’s son, Paul Pelosi Jr was tied together with a crypto scam involving over $600,000 of money being stolen from investors. It was of course an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) scheme.

The scheme was pulled off by a man with the name of Asa Saint Clair, and the name of the coin he was offering was known as IGObit. Saint Clair claimed that Pelosi was “a long time-associate, both professionally, and personally”.

Paul Pelosi Jr Endorsing the Project.

The scheme involved Saint Clair using the United Nations as a cover story for his project. By the victim’s accounts, he was telling them that the coin was involved in a “World Sports Alliance”, of which he claimed close ties with the UN. He claimed the organization provided struggling youth around the world an outlet through sports.

Saint Clair was sentenced to 42 months in prison and was ordered to pay over $600,000 in restitution. Pelosi was not charged in the case.
