If you’re looking to get into the world of blockchain, one of the first things you’ll learn is that a lot of people are using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create digital collectables. These tokens can be anything from a unique Pokemon card to a digital representation of an in-game item or character, but they’re all tied together by their uniqueness and ability to be traded on a marketplace. Now that we’ve given you some background info about NFTs, let’s dive into developing an NFT marketing strategy for your business!

#1 Target a niche audience

Before you can develop a solid marketing strategy, it’s important to define your target audience. Your goal is to narrow down the people who are most likely to be interested in what you have to offer. This will help you focus on the right group of people and avoid wasting time and money advertising to those who don’t need your product or service.

To do this, try answering these questions:

  • What are their problems?
  • What do they need?
  • What interests them?
  • Who are they? (demographics)
  • How do they behave? (psychographics)
  • Why do they act this way? (behaviour)

Once you’ve defined your target audience, you’ll be able to create content that resonates with them — and get them excited about what your business has to offer!

#2 Create something of value and turn it into an NFT

The second step to creating an NFT is to turn your creation into one. This process can be done in many ways, but the most straightforward way would be to use an open-source tool like OpenZeppelin or Truffle Framework.

Once you have your tokenizer and contract set up, you can start uploading images of your creation onto the blockchain. The process for doing this depends on which NFT platform you decide to use. Some platforms allow users to upload images directly onto their platform while others require that users download a zip file containing all of their files before uploading them through the website interface.

#3 Create a digital collectables marketplace

The third step is to create a digital collectables marketplace. You can do this by creating your marketplace or joining an existing one. One of the benefits of creating your marketplace is that you can use it to sell other products, not just ones related to blockchain technology. This will help you build a base of customers who are interested in buying digital goods and may even pay for premium content as well

You need to make sure your marketplace is easy-to-use because users will want to be able to buy from it quickly, easily and securely. If they have problems navigating your site or aren’t sure how much they should pay for items, then they’re going somewhere else — and more than likely won’t return later on either!

#4 Win the market with your customer service

Customer service is important. Being responsive to your customers is crucial in the world of NFT marketing. While you may not be able to give people refunds or even physically assist them, you can still provide a good experience by being helpful and friendly when they have questions. If you get an email from someone confused about how to use your product, don’t just leave it unanswered — respond with a helpful answer and let them know you care about them as a customer!

  • Provide links for new users: One way I like to help out my customers is by providing links that explain how I use certain NFTs in my work (like Amazon S3). This helps me look like a more competent professional while also helping out new users who might be confused by something minor!
  • Write reviews on Google Scholar: Not only does this make me look like an expert in my field (and hopefully attract more clients), but it also allows me to find other articles related to what I’m researching right now which could lead to future projects.*

#5 Get social media networks on board

  • Use social media. A good way to get started is by leveraging the existing networks you already have. If you are a business, then make sure that your social media pages reflect what you do and how they can be used. In this case, people would probably like seeing a simple hashtag about your NFT or something similar. This opens up potential consumers and investors who search for such hashtags in their feeds or on the web.*
  • Promote your NFTs using hashtags that make sense given their nature of them (like #cryptoart).
  • Promote your business as well as its product lines by posting regularly on your page so that people know what they will find when they check out closely what you have posted.*

#6 Partner with influencers

Partnering with influencers is one of the most popular NFT marketing strategies. Influencers are people who have a big following and are usually well-known in the crypto community. They can come from many different backgrounds, but they all share one thing: their followers want to hear what they have to say about new developments in NFTs and blockchain technology.

If you’re looking for influencers for your platform or project, then look no further than social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. You can easily find some great candidates here if you know where to look!

#7 Announce on top crypto media outlets

One of the biggest mistakes crypto companies make when marketing their token sale is that they do not reach out to the right crypto stakeholders. The reason why these stakeholders are important is that they can help you get your message out there by writing about it or interviewing you, and they also have large social media followers.

If you want to be featured on a top crypto media outlet then get in touch with them and pitch your project. If they like it, then they’ll publish a press release about your project which will usually include information about the token sale date and other details about your company such as its vision and mission statement, who’s involved in it etc., so make sure that what goes into this press release is correct if possible because this could attract more investors than just simply posting it online without any other information given at all! You’ll probably also need some photos of yourself or team members standing next to each other for some photos together (it doesn’t matter what type).

Developing an NFT marketing strategy for your business takes some time and effort, but it’s worth all the work because it will help you promote your brand effectively and reach more people.

Here’s an example of a marketing strategy:

“Our [NFT] has many uses. It can be used by [your target audience]. Our product is easy to use, which makes it great for beginners as well as experienced users.”

Bottom Line

In the end, it all comes down to knowing your brand and how to market it. These days, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to marketing that works for every business. The key is knowing what works for your brand and finding a way to make it work for you
