Crafting — Players can combine resources and hard-to-find items to craft gear and special consumables for their personal use, or for selling on the open-market as ERC1155 or ERC721 NFTs. This gear is used for customization or to support travel into dangerous areas. Players make enchantments, weapons, and potions to use for themselves or while exploring.
Exploration — No modern game or metaverse is complete without a huge world to explore. Players can explore everything in Pixelland: Dungeons and caves, fields and forests, towns and villages, wastelands and beaches alike. No wanderer will feel bored exploring Pixelland. Each terrain of Pixelland has different kinds of monsters and loot to match them.
Resource Gathering — Many of Pixelland’s activities require resources and encourage players to gather them for all activities. These range from crafting, building, eating, and building special NFTs. Mining, cutting trees, gathering skeleton bones, fishing and farming are just a few of the examples of ways to manually get resources in Pixelland. Other ways include trading valuable weapons and gear on the market in exchange for these resources from other players, or doing missions for quest givers and receiving them as a reward.
Social Interaction — Pixelland has a straightforward chatting tool so friends can talk to each other in the game. Players can do this to discuss forming groups, in-game market trends, negotiate trades, and collaborate.
Monster Hunting — One of the most exciting reasons to travel and explore is to find monsters and test your skills. In Pixelland, there are many monsters to find and fight. Some are easy to find and drop decent loot, while others are rare and difficult to defeat. The more difficult they are to find and defeat, the more rare the NFTs drops will be. Some monsters eve drop special ingredients for crafting. Examples of Pixelland monsters include skeletons, the undead, bandits, and huge monstrous rabbits, among many others.
This is a brief overview of all of the things players can do inside of Pixelland. We are making Pixelland into a rich open-world MMORPG with continuous content expansions. Players can expect Pixelland to be in the same category as other popular MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, Everquest, and Guild Wars, with all of the same features.
One unique aspect about Pixelland is that it can also be enjoyed as a single-player game. Players can still play the game offline and accumulate the same resources and loot to be traded in the Web3 marketplace later when they choose to do so.
