You’re gonna love these NFT success stories
NFT success story part 2
I am glad that Medium writers are writing success NFT (clap) stories (offering better presentations than I have). There is a twofold reason these stories are essential. First, they represent ordinary people who desire a change in their lives — the first key to success.
The second part is the incredible potential they expose in the cryptoverse. The NFT element of these success stories shows people bringing their talents into the crypto space and turning it into an excellent income stream. It represents a different kind of investment — an investment of one’s talents rather than money.
Sarah is one such success story.
Sarah, a digital artist (@thesarahshow), began selling NFTs of her artwork in 2019. She found the NFT path in the cryptoverse when it was barely a rabbit trail. Within a year, Sarah’s primary source of income became selling her NFTs.
Sarah quickly realized the potential of NFTs and began minting (the process of turning something into a Nonfungible Token) pieces of her work. By 2021, she saw over $274,000 in sales. But Sarah did not stop there.
Her work can be found on Foundation, KnownOrigin, NiftyGateway, OpenSea, Rarible, and SuperRare.
In June of this year (2022), Sarah made the NFT100 list by NFTNow (NFT: HAVE YOU HEARD THE LATEST? June 9), naming her as one of the top NFT artists.
Sarah’s success can be your success. She wanted a change in her life; she saw an opportunity — in the cryptoverse — and took action.
The Coin Artist
Coin Artist, Marguerite, is another NFT success story. Her creativity caught my attention.
In 2014, Marguerite took images of her oil pastel paintings, turning them into a series of digital puzzles. One of them, “The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto” — the creator(s) of Bitcoin — (anyone in the cryptoverse would be drawn to it) went viral within the crypto community. However, her creativity did not stop there. When the puzzle was solved, it unlocked bitcoin prizes. (How creative is that!)

She practiced patience
Coin Artist did rest on her past success; it only inspired her creativity. She dreamed of creating a crypto-game development company. Unfortunately, technology had not caught up with her creativity. The launch of CryptoKitties in 2017 gave Marguerite the path she needed, and her flagship game, Neon District, launched in 2018.
Marguerite continues to explore her creativity and expand her success. She credits the cryptoverse for allowing her to create her career. Neon District has over $195,000 in sales, while Blockade games (her game development company) has earned over $300,000. Her own NFT sales have surpassed $200,000; not bad for an artist.
These stories excite me — and they should excite you.
The common theme in each of these stories is this.
1 — they wanted a change
2 — they saw an opportunity
3 — they found that opportunity in the cryptoverse
4 — they took a risk
How did they do it? The answer to that question is in an upcoming article.
Follow along as I learn; maybe you will learn. Perhaps, together, we can explore the cryptoverse.
