Get ready to vote for the Commons Prize award!

Voting starts on May 11th. All $TRUST (formerly $CSTK) token holders are eligible to cast their vote to choose the next community to deploy a Commons and have an active role in shaping the future landscape of Commons.

Update: Timelines have changed! The new voting periods are:

May 15–22 : First round of nominations to determine the shortlist of finalists May 25–31 : Second round of voting to determine the community that will be awarded the prize

The process of voting on these nominations is an important one, requiring considerable thought and care. The members of the Trusted Seed must not only vote based on whether they believe a particular idea has real potential, but also consider how well it fits into their own individual criteria for success. Does this idea have the power to change lives? Does it bring new hope or enlightenment to communities around the world? And ultimately, does it reflect Trusted Seed’s core values of creativity and innovation?

Here is how the voting will work…

Voting Process

The voting process will be divided into two rounds. The first round will determine a set of 3–5 finalists from all the nominations submitted. The second round will determine the winner. Both rounds will use quadratic voting.

Round 1: Voting for the finalists

All Trusted Seed members are eligible to vote on the nominations to select the 3 to 5 finalists that will advance to the next round. For this round, we will use Tokenlog to allow for discussions in the comments section of each nomination. Feel free to ask questions or make comments to support a nomination in the comments section!

• Go to Commons Prize Tokenlog and connect your Metamask wallet.

• Read through the nominations, watch the videos submitted for each and vote! You can use all your $TRUST for one nomination or spread it among a few of your favorites.

Round 2: Voting for the winner

All Trusted Seed members are eligible to vote for the winner from the group of finalists! 🏆

For this round, we will use Quadratic Rank Choice Voting on Snapshot.

To vote for the winner, you need to have $TRUST tokens in your wallet. We will share the link for the Snapshot before the vote opens. Watch out for our future announcements!
