Construction Notes
Construction Notes is a series of posts about the development of a large-scale construction project over a highway in Washington, DC and the history of the architectural styles, construction materials and processes, and their relationship to the historic East-End neighborhood.
Note from the editor

Three years ago, Property Group Partners began developing the air rights over the I-395 Center Leg Freeway between E Street and Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. Because Georgetown Law Center is the main neighbor to the east, I began writing a series of emails called CONSTRUCTION NOTES to the Law Center community to keep them informed of the project. As the work progressed, people from, the neighborhood and from other parts of the city, then the nation asked to join the distribution list. Because the list has grown so large, I decided to create this blog for easier access. I hope you enjoy the CONSTRUCTION NOTES. If you want to learn a little more about them, you can read the City Paper article at http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/columns/concrete-details/article/20838688/how-a-georgetown-law-professor-became-a-cult-construction-blogger
