How to enter Channel VIP?
- Go visit https://cos.tv/v2/channel-vip/
- Or go to the COS.TV homepage, and click Useful Links in the upper left corner of the screen to open the menu, and select “Channel VIP.”
What is a PASS?
You can think of a PASS as a key to a chat room!
Channel VIP currently has two types of PASSes: Tradable PASS and Limited Edition PASS. If you want to enter a chat room you are interested in, you must have at least one PASS of any type for that chat room.
After entering a chat room, you can view all past messages sent by the owner of the room. If you want to leave a chat room, you can sell your Tradable PASS. (NOTE: Limited Edition Pass is not transferable or refundable.)
Once you have zero PASSes in that chat room, you will no longer be able to view the previous messages. If you are the room owner, you must have at least one PASS for the room to maintain your owner status.
How is the price of PASS determined?
Tradable PASS
The sales price of the Tradable PASS is determined using the following formula: #P * #P * 2 COS (Where #P is the number of PASSes currently issued in that chat room).
PASS prices are automatically calculated by the system according to the formula, and the higher the number of PASSes issued, the higher the PASS price; PASSes can be bought or sold at any time easily, which makes the transaction fast and highly liquid.
Each buy and sell transaction will require a 10% transaction fee, 5% of which will be provided to the chat room owners as an incentive for them to continue to develop their chat room community, and the remaining fee will be collected by the platform.
Limited Edition Pass
The sales price of the Limited Edition PASS is set by the room owner, and the owner will receive all the revenue from the sales price! The Platform will only charge 20% of the sales price to the purchasing user as a transaction fee. This fee is used to maintain the operation of the platform and to improve the service to ensure that users can enjoy a stable and high-quality social experience.
How do I get a PASS to join a room?
It’s a simple 3-step process to join a room:
- View the Popular rooms page or the Latest rooms page on Channel VIP.
2. Select a room and click “BUY PASS” to purchase a PASS to join the chat room.
