This is one of the many recipes that Aaron and I want to share with you. We are overjoyed for you to come with us on our journey as we put together different concoctions and laugh together (all while hoping to not burn our apartment down). Please enjoy these recipes as much as we have. We welcome you to a small, but intentional, part of our lives.

If you would like to read the post that accompanies this recipe, check it out here.

What You’ll Need

  • Avocados, 2–3 large
  • Roma Tomatoes, 1–2 medium
  • White Onion, 1/2 medium
  • Garlic Powder, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Juice from a lemon/Lemon Juice, 1/2 tablespoon
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Optional:

  • Cilantro, 1 Tablespoon (I think it tastes like soap but Aaron loves it)

How We Did It

  1. Dice tomatoes and onions. Chop cilantro (if you are using it). Set aside.
  2. Slice avocados in half and remove seed. Scoop out meat from avocados and place in a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Cut/mash avocado meat until it is to your desired consistancy.
  4. Add avocados, onions, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. To finish, add lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
  6. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until chilled.
  7. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy!

A Final Note

Aaron and I had so much fun cooking this recipe together. We loved putting our own spin on it but we do need to give credit where it is due. My best friend, Kristen Wagnerowski is the queen of making guac. No matter how often I make it, her’s always is the best. Thank you for always being my motivation and inspiration for making guacamole!
