COPE is a student mental health initiative at McMaster University. It was founded in September 2008 by a group of McMaster students looking to make a difference. As a mental health-oriented organization, we tackle many issues regarding the stigma and awareness surrounding mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. This particular blog has been created with the efforts of COPE’s Knowledge Translation Committee. Using an evidence-based approach, we attempt to break down barriers and stigma associated with mental health.
