Cosmic Champs Closed Beta Game Launch
Be one of the first to test Cosmic Champs mobile game
It’s been a long wait, we know, but it’s finally here. The closed beta game is now available to play on your Android device, iPhone, or PC. Go here to play: https://beta.cosmicchamps.com/play.
After spending the last couple of weeks resolving scaling issues, and adding a few additional features such as splash damage, unit deploy preview, and enhanced matchmaking, we’re ready to release the closed beta game to the community!
To play the game, all you’ll need to do is click this link. If you’re on an Android or iPhone you’ll have to install the app. If you’re on a PC then you can play directly from your browser. All versions require you to connect your wallet with the beta pass.
Don’t have your beta pass yet? Check if you are on the OG allow list at beta.cosmicchamps.com and opt in now. All NFT holders as of last week are on the allow list. We’ll be doing a final distribution of beta passes soon. If not, there’s still some available on the secondary market. Always check you have the correct ASA ID 791381678
There’s a couple of important things to note. Firstly, the closed beta game is not the finished game. It’s a stripped-back version that focuses heavily on gameplay dynamics. Although it’s less fun for you to play, it’s much more helpful to us as game developers to test and make the game even better.
Having played the game ourselves (a looooooot) we can attest that it really is addictive! There’s nothing to match the feeling of unleashing a Cybi against your opponent and seeing the Victory screen light up! So, even though it’s a stripped-back version, it will definitely give you a taste of good things to come. We dare you to try and stop playing!
Secondly, we gotta be honest. The closed beta version has bugs. Many are known but some are stuff unknown. For some people, it will work all the time. For other people, it might not work at all. And then there are all the variants in between. To give you a sense of what to expect, we’ll have a list of these bugs available to read on beta.cosmicchamps.com.
We’ve done a lot of testing in-house with the team, and with the community-run Ambassador’s DAO, but we are about to let a brand new mobile app loose out into the wild, with all sorts of unknown conditions and pitfalls of the digital environment. It could be beautiful, or it could be complete mayhem. Either way, we are willing to try!
Don’t let that deter you! Install the game, hit battle, match with an opponent, and come share how you did in our Discord! If you meet a bug, be happy! It’s one more bug that we can fix and get out of the way before open beta. Just come and report it at beta.cosmicchamps.com and click on the submit a bug button.

Because we are involving our community in our beta testing, it’s also your opportunity to play a role in the development of the game. Beta Game Instructions
Here’s where the fun begins. We’re really excited that we finally get to share our space-themed tower rush game with our community and supporters.
What to do
- Have your beta pass in the wallet that you will connect to the game.
- If you don’t have a beta pass, check if you are on the allow list and opt-in now. beta.cosmicchamps.com/allowlist
- If you aren’t on the allow list, get a beta pass from a friend or on the secondary market — make sure it is ASA 791381678.
- Get a mobile device — any medium-spec Android or iPhone smart device post-2019 will be fine.
- Download the game to your phone via https://beta.cosmicchamps.com/play and follow the instructions for your device.
If you’re on android…
- Once downloaded, go to your file manager and click on downloaded file.
- Follow the prompts to install the app. If your settings don’t allow opening third party apps, select the option to go to settings, and Click “allow from this source”.
- Click install — the screen will show install progress.
- Once it says installed, click “Open”. If you lose the screen, just head to your home screen, and click on the “Cosmic Champs” icon.
For all users…
- The Sign Up page will load.
- Create an account with an email address (no spaces at the end) and a Password. The email address doesn’t have to be real. The handle of the email address (before the @) will become your user name for now. Your password must contain at least 10 characters, a capital letter, a special character, and a number.
- Or, if you’ve already created an account, click “Sign In” and enter your login details.
- To play, you’ll need to click “Connect Wallet” and connect the wallet that holds your beta pass. (Currently we only support Pera wallet).
- Either scan the QR code with your Pera app, or if Pera is installed on your device, click Pera Wallet and Pera will directly open and prompt you to approve.
- Once you connect your wallet, you’ll need to manually return to the app — e.g. close Pera and click back on your device.
- If you click on “Deck” you’ll see the Season 1 Champs in your deck. If you click on them you’ll see the stats. Your NFTs won’t currently show in the app.
- To play, click “Battle” The app will say waiting for opponent. If you want to find someone to play with, go to the #🪖┃beta-buddies channel of our Discord and invite your frens.
- To play, drag your Champs into the highlighted area on the map.
- Once Champs are deployed on the map they will automatically move and fight for you.
- Once the battle starts, you have 3 minutes to destroy your opponents base to win. If someone wins, the battle will end sooner. You can leave the game too if you want.
If the game works perfectly for you (we hope it does) but you have specific feedback, head to the new community feedback board accessible from beta.cosmicchamps.com
Each Champ costs a specific amount of energy. Experiment with deploying different champs and let us know what strategies work for you!
If you are enjoying the game, we’d love you to make a video and post on TikTok and online to go in the running for cool prizes! We’ll announce a range of competitions and Crew quests once the closed beta returns next week.
Out for the count
We know that once the game is up, you won’t want it to go down again. But having some down time after the initial testing will be important to get the next build ready that incorporates all the feedback from the bug reports.
After about 24 hours, the game will be closed for a short period so our devs can upgrade functionality and fix any major bugs. We’ll let you know when it’s back up!
Gameplay roadmap
As soon as we’ve stress tested the core functionality, we will quickly roll out the additional game features over the coming weeks that we’ve already planned to implement, such as:

- NFT skins
- Splash damage
- Battle SFX
- New Champs
- UI updates
If experiencing the early form of the game like this doesn’t suit you, that’s OK! The open beta, available a few weeks from now, will have a lot more functionality added and have all the bugs fixed. Join us then.
