A couple of days ago we successfully launched our Developer Network, enabling developers to build on COTI’s new L2 for the first time.

Launch of the Developer Network
On May 21st, we announced the launch of the COTI Developer Network, marking a monumental step forward in becoming a confidential L2 on Ethereum.
Along with the successful launch, we introduced one of the largest privacy-related growth funds in the Ethereum ecosystem called the ABC growth fund. As part of this fund, the Builders Program encourages developers to build on COTI’s Developer Network, and provides them with the tools and resources they need to build on the COTI platform. Thus far, even though the program was launched just two days ago, we have received dozens of inquiries that are being reviewed by the team.

Shahaf Featured in Crypto Town Hall
Shahaf Bar-Geffen, our CEO, made a notable appearance during a recent Town Hall event on X spaces hosted by Mario Nawfal, Ran Neuner and Scott Melker. Almost 200,000 listeners tuned in to the space!
Among other topics, Shahaf covered the performance of garbled circuits compared to other privacy solutions, as well as the differences between anonymity and confidentiality. If you missed it, you can still listen to the session here.
Website Updates
We’ve updated our website with up to date content about the COTI technology and Garbled Circuits, as well as launched an extensive documentation section to support developers with SDKs, and coding examples.
What’s Next?
Looking ahead, we have a series of X Spaces, as well as the introduction of the Creators Program. We will continue to review builders’ applications and keep the community updated. Later on this month, Joshua Maddox, our Chief of Ecosystem and Partnerships will be attending Consensus 2024 and in July, we will be attending EthCC.
Our next major milestone is the COTI V2 Testnet launch, scheduled for Q3. Our team is working diligently on it, and as always, we will keep you updated on the progress. Stay tuned for more updates and news.
