What does Excellence Fellowship mean to us?

The Excellence Fellowship is an opportunity for students with an excellent track record to be a change agent in a traditional industry that is transforming thanks to technological innovation.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for students in their last year of studies or recent graduates who are passionate about technology, admire change, and are not afraid of challenges. We seek talented individuals usually with a technical background interested in innovation with the revolutionary vision of the business.

We believe that people are our power and the best way to achieve growth. We care about and seek the best talent who is ready to bring the company success to another level. This program is created for the best students and recent graduates of any area or discipline, who are in the top 5% of their class.

Our objective is to offer you the opportunity to begin your work experience in the field of technological entrepreneurship in a leading company in the sector and with exceptional characteristics in Spain, with highly qualified professionals in Technology, Marketing, Product, and Business.

What can we offer you?

We can offer you hands-on experience with high performing professionals, to get you prepared to occupy one of our permanent roles. At CoverWallet, in the first months, you will receive extensive internal training, where you will learn how our business operates, agile methodologies, modern ways of communication, and teamwork.

For example, for our tech teams, it’s common to do pair programming, an agile technique in software development, where two engineers work together in order to master their code. But our company not only stands for learning while working, but we do also believe in the power of creativity therefore we organize hackathons, where we create new teams from all departments and work on innovative solutions for our business. What is more, we host meetups so if you crave more knowledge out of working hours, we encourage you to join us.

Another way of sharing the knowledge at CoverWallet are organized Demo days, where each team presents their current achievements.

An Excellence Fellowship, an amazing opportunity grants you 2000 euros a month (or 1000 euros a month if you decide to work with us part-time).

What happens after the grant is completed?

The Excellence Grant is a 0 stage before you fully get involved in the organization as an employee. We are happy to open the position and offer you a permanent contract if your six-month stay will be satisfactory for both parts and you receive a positive evaluation from your mentor at CoverWallet.

What is the deadline to submit the application?

What are the main requirements to join the program?

• You are in the top 5% of your class
• You are in your last (or second to last) year or within the first 12 months after graduation
• You have an excellent level of English that allows fluent oral and written communication with members of the English-speaking team,
• You are flexible, hard-working, innovative, passionate about technology, and eager to take on new challenges,
• Students and recent graduates of any degree or master can apply.

What documents do I need to submit?

• Motivation letter
• Curriculum Vitae
• Transcript of records
• Proof of excellence (transcript of grades stating the student’s position within their promotion or university document specifying that the student is in the top 5%, Award mentioning the excellence in previous years

All documents should be submitted in English or Spanish if necessary.
