How to Submit your Story

Cream Shaboogie Cock Submissions

Submitting to a Medium Publication like Cream Shaboogie Cock is not like publishing your own story. You need to submit it to us first. We’ll review it, make any minor alterations to match our Style Guide, and then we’ll publish it.

Small pieces (Flash Fiction, Poetry, Snippets) we’ll normally publish in 24–48 hours. Feature Stories and Hot Chapters may take longer, but typically not longer than 7 days.

Checklist

• Title, Sub-title, and Tag-Line formatted correctly?
• Banner of cover image included and formatted correctly?
• Body formatted according to the Style Guide?
• Promo formatted correctly?

Update Story Meta-Data

When your story is ready to go, click the (…) Settings button at the top and set the metadata as follows:

• Manage Distribution Setting — Set this to OFF (unchecked) for Bargain Books and Sexy Snippets so that they’re visible to non-subscribers. All Feature Stories, Flash Fiction, Poetry, Hot Chapters are eligible for payment.
• Change Featured Image — If your story includes more than one image, choose the one you want to appear in the magazine thumbnail. For Feature Stories, choose the banner image — it looks great displayed across the front page of the publication.
• Display title / subtitle — Check these match the title and sub-title. If you edited the title / sub-title after saving, these won’t have been updated.
• Change tags — Add 4 tags of your own choosing. The fifth one is required to place the story into the correct category Cream Shaboogie Cock’s menu.

• More Settings — Paste your tag-line into the SEO Description.

Submission

When you’re done with metadata, DO NOT HIT PUBLISH. Instead, click ‘Add to Publication’.

In the pop-up list, choose Cream Shaboogie Cock and click Add Draft.

We’ll receive your submission and publish it as soon as we can.
