Furious Love
Day 14 ‘A Painting a Day’.
Rich in colour & texture, Furious Love was painted in the moment of abandoned worship, an abstract expressionist style. An explosion of brilliant red, orange and gold, rushes out from the deep purple and blues. Inspired by the energy and passion of live music, this painting expresses the furious, extravagant, intense and overwhelming love of God.
Painted with a thick application of acrylic paint, enhanced with metallic gold pigmented inks and finished with a high gloss varnish, Furious Love is an expression of divine affection.

The Furious Love painting was created as one of my Soundscape series. A collection of paintings that were exhibited with music inspired by the art. Each painting was hung in the exhibition with a soundtrack, a passionate and deeply moving experience of sight and sound.
