‘Creative Passions’ is a place for all writers who like to write stories about anything that shows imagination. Stories that can support you in ‘getting away from it all,’ from the stressors of real life. LGBTQ+ articles are welcome too here, as our aim is to promote mindfulness, and freedom to speak up about stigma & racism. Writing is creative and poetry holds a place here too, especially after the Covid restrictions forced so many of us back into our homes, into a state of isolation. I want people to show their own blend of creativity here too. I have been an active registered mental health nurse for 30 years before leaving after contracting Covid-19. I started this publication to encourage people to start writing more because writing is like a gateway to our soul; enabling us to investigate our emotions and begin to understand them. I believe in supporting & helping as many as I can with their mental health struggles as our society can be all too cruel, and stigmatizing, and am happy to help with anything like that.
