Our Director of Engineering, Shuichi, lecturing Tokyo University students

As previously posted, Credify is a University of Tokyo corporate partner. Specifically, Credify works with the University of Tokyo’s Endowed Chair for Blockchain Innovation, which offers courses developed for students who aim to become blockchain-related entrepreneurs.

On August 7th, Credify’s Director of Engineering, Shuichi Nagao, held the first lecture with the University of Tokyo’s blockchain program students. As it was the first session of Credify, the lecture focused on an actual use case of blockchain at Credify and what Credify is trying to achieve through idX and serviceX.

It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss our solution with talents out of this program. Although it was a closed and small session, I got many insightful questions and feedback on Credify from the participants. As some universities all over the world have blockchain oriented majors or classes already, for example at the University of Edinburgh which I visited this past February, I would love to continue contributing to education and community building around this space out of the University of Tokyo.

Credify will be delivering further lectures and opportunities for students at the University of Tokyo to learn about blockchain applications in finance and beyond.
