I enjoy geeking out on software product creations and designs. And these are the couple products that have won my heart over time. It’s basically a product love affair. They all have been very instrumental in my daily routines mostly as learning tools, self improvement zones and in carrying out my daily tasks, which precisely revolve around hanging out on the internet.
There are millions of software products being used every single day. Here’s a few of mine that I recommend everyone should use, or at least just try.

Medium is simple from the sign up to writing and publishing your story
Everything looks awesome and great on every device. I have especially loved seeing it evolve over time, both in design and in services we can derive from it.
Key points:
Consume content and build a following
Medium connects you with voices and perspectives that matter. At times I tend to binge read content on medium and it has been very life changing. This is a quick access to any topic that could be of interest to you. From tech, fashion,, music and life in general.I haven’t been an active writer but am looking to improve on that.
Share and recommend
Read something that you think more people need to know of? You can easily highlight and share on various social platforms and recommend the read.
Medium design is continuously growing and am always here for that.

Whatever work means for you, Slack brings all the pieces and
people you need together so you can actually get things done.
Slack does not only provide simple chat functionality, but its channel concept is my best functionality.You can create your own channels for the topics you wish. Discussions will happen within the right channel to keep context and keep team organized.Everything is made with love to details, a perfect experience for everyone in the team.

Integrations:
You can set up most tools you use to slack and avoid constant switching between apps. The notifications are sent directly within slack, be it support requests, code check-ins, and error logs to sales leads.
Channels:
Grouping various discussions within teams according to channels helps with organizing work flow and maintaining context within a channel.

Connect with your friends — and other fascinating people. Get in-the-moment updates on the things that interest you. And watch events unfold, in real time, from every angle.
This is my favorite social media platform.The people I follow are people I know, people I work with and live near, people I admire,but also a good dose of random influencers, musicians, and celebrities I’ll most probably never meet.The fast-paced life on twitter makes you live in the moment.There’s barely no memory on Twitter, everything is fleeting, and trends change fast!!
Key Points:
Exposure
Networking on twitter comes easy for me, compared to in-person interactions. Am able to express myself better and can reach out to almost anyone who has an account and is open and willing to connect. Twitter is key as a marketing tool, buzz building and quick networking.
Entertainment
I like my social circle of friends and their thoughts, jokes, and ideas they share each day on Twitter. Trending memes,jokes and random quotes and trolls are good source of entertainment. Also it’s a place to rant when bored or frustrated with daily routines.

YouTube’s mission is to give everyone a voice and show them the world.
My experience with YouTube has been bitter sweet. For the sweet part, I would describe it as a great resource, for learning and diverse source of guided visual content. There was a time I was extremely obsessed with YouTube videos, precisely, gossip news and everything Hollywood, trendy and in so doing I wasted too much time, hence the bitter part.
Key Points:
Resourceful
YouTube is immensely resourceful. I have relied on it immensely in my programming journey for visual and direct to the point content.You get to see people do stuff and imitating that on your own becomes easy. It’s a go-to place for knowledge junkies.
Entertainment
I love music, and watching music videos is one of my hobbies.Also am able to follow the lives of various people who are influential in my life. I get to see the world.

GitHub is a development platform inspired by the way you work. From opensource to business, you can host and review code, manage projects, and build software alongside millions of other developers.
As a junior developer, adopting this to my daily routines hasn’t been easy.It’s still a work in progress but we getting there.I haven’t yet incorporated it well but is something am working towards.
Key Points:
Coding practices
GitHub is a resource you can use to get up the ladder as a software developer. There’s exposure to code repositories from experiences people in the industry, from whom you can pick good practices and learn new concepts.
Portfolio
It’s a place to showcase your portfolio. It’s a platform to showcase you work to the world and contribute to open source projects.
The market place and feature integrations available are also interesting to consider.
Having theses default foundation on my most used software leaves me confident and excited about my daily growth.This is basically what am currently using the internet for. Among other things. What are your internet habits? And what products do you fancy?
