Yesterday, August 1st marks the final day of our open beta. It was fun, it was exhausting, but we learned a lot and changed a lot in accordance with that.

That means that now is the time for the pre-sale period to officially begin — and it does, today, August 2nd. Today, beta is closed, and the only new players that can enter the game until its soft release will be those who purchase any of the card packs.

For the first two weeks, in-game purchases are fiat-only, and from August 16th, you will be able to buy card packs with Aeternity. Other cryptocurrencies will be possible to use to buy packs sometime after that — two weeks at most, so think end of August/beginning of September.

We are aiming for a mid-September soft launch, where all the functionality will be introduced for existing players, but the game will still officially be in beta, until the pre-sale ends, which will be around Halloween, so that means that we will not be letting in new players.

We may have a grace week or two during the August-November pre-sale window, when new players will be allowed to enter without making a purchase.

Finally, everyone who plays during this pre-sale period will be gaining founder points. At the end of the pre-sale, you will be able to exchange those points for founder prizes, according to your tier. You can learn out more about founder tiers in this post.

Get into the fray now — become a Cryptic Legends founder, so you can go on to become a true Legend!
