This week on YouTube we’re talking Cat Codex, undiscovered Fancies, and March Madness!

The Cat Codex is now live

If you haven’t seen it, log in to your account and check it out for yourself! Have you played Pokemon? Well, the Cat Codex is just like your Pokedex — this list of Cattributes tells you which traits your cats currently have, and which ones you’re missing.

Showcasing your collection and keeping on top of all the releases has been challenging, and we hope this will help make both those things a little easier. If you have any feedback for the Cat Codex (or other releases), we always want to hear from you. Connect via Discord or leave us comments on the blog.

Without hints, a lot of Fancies remain undiscovered

We’re rocking three spring-themed Fancy Cats that have yet to be discovered. We have a vernal equinox Kitty named Vernon (because Bryce is getting lazy with his normally awesome puns). Next up is what Bryce describes as the light of his life, and yet he can’t remember their name (that’s gonna get him kicked out of bed), Butterfly Kitty (it’s Flutterbee, by the way). And finally, an Easter-themed Fancy and Bryce’s personal favourite (what happened to the light of his life?). The hint for this delightful Fancy is “delicious,” and we’re dying for you to read its bio.

Are these the only Fancies left undiscovered in the ecosystem? No. No they are not. You didn’t hear it from Bryce. Except you did. And there are at least two more. Waiting. Always waiting…

Cattributes with weird names are our favourite

It may not be babypuke, but doridnudibranch is a new Cattribute that’s delightfully hard to say and probably isn’t produced “nudie” — but sure looks like it is.

March Madness loves interspecies romance

These cats breed for a living — okay, it’s hard to avoid the connotations. Anyway, we ran a March Madness bracket to figure out who the community loves best (SPOILER ALERT). PhuZiqaat (have you ever noticed how ironic that name is? He doesn’t have any fur...) went up against Dogcat in the final round. To no one’s surprise, interspecies won, probably because it’s super cute but also because it’s Bryce’s favourite (there’s a trend here…).

Fan art is fantastic (is that even a pun?)

Fan art is really cool, and we love it when you send it to us! If you have fan art you want to share, feel free to post it in the comments section or tweet us. Bryce loves fan art so much he even commissioned user Foxxy, who created a super awesome fan art for a contest, to make a larger version so Bryce can have it printed. Next up? CryptoKitty tattoos for the whole team.
