Cultivate features writing on the climate crisis, sustainability, environmental justice, theories of personal and societal change, and the emotional dimensions of planetary peril. Our aim is to bring together voices for individual and collective action toward a just and sustainable future.

We welcome articles, reviews, interviews, case studies, personal reflections, and interpretations of research.

If you are interested in publishing with us, we’d love to hear from you. Please start by emailing your bio and pitch to us at editorscultivatemagazine@gmail.com.

We ask our writers to follow Medium’s rules and best practices for formatting. All sources must be cited using links. Copyrighted work may not be used without permission.

Suggested length for articles is 1000 to 1500 words.

After we’ve approved your pitch, your draft must be submitted through Medium. (Here’s how.)

Cultivate is not currently in a position to pay our writers. However, writers may choose to use Medium’s Partner Program and put their stories behind the paywall. Writers retain the rights to their works.

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
