Cyberlete: Gamers First

Lattice Exchange hosted Cyberlete for an AMA on August 11. We were excited to be right there with the community and go in-depth about what we’re bringing to the the gaming and eSports industry and to Constellation’s Hypergraph.

Cyberlete is showing up at the perfect time: A recent TechCrunch report noted the blockchain gaming industry grew 2,000% in the past year. Investments are pouring into the sector — $2.5 billion in the last quarter alone, compared to the $4 billion raised for the sector across all of 2021. As the blockchain becomes more widespread in the gaming industry, so will applications like Cyberlete that use blockchain as a tool to benefit the industry as a whole.

Here’s a summary of what Cyberlete discussed during the Lattice Exchange AMA.

Cyberlete is on a personal mission.

“One thing we like to point out is that Cyberlete is a technology company built by gamers, for gamers, because it tells you we really understand how it feels when something we really love to do is ruined by cheating.

It’s happening more and more in gaming at every level, and it’s getting more outrageous. It’s bots, it’s software. It takes the fun out of gaming, but it also costs competitive gamers money.

They lose money in tournaments because of cheating, and because of unscrupulous organizers. There’s a lot of damage being done to the entire industry.”

Cyberlete technology = Web3 and Web2 working together.

“The Cyberlete application is a combination of Constellation’s blockchain technology and our proprietary cross-platform Anti-Cheat (AC) technology and Cyberlete AC Artificial Intelligence Cloud (CACAIC). Our tech collects data points, and trains our AI/ML systems to identify and categorize player behavior and distinguish it from cheat programs.

Think of anomaly detection for EVs, we are using these types of algorithms. Constellation’s Hypergraph has the speed, scalability, and interoperability to verify and validate all the complex data traveling through our network. We can detect cheats fast. We also use KYC (but we call it KYP — know your player) with biometrically verified voice and facial recognition technology from Finnovant to establish user trust.”

Cheating happens across everyday gaming and eSports, and it’s getting worse. Both can benefit from Cyberlete’s solution.

“Gaming is a huge industry, and nothing really slows it down. Gaming sales reached $191 billion in 2021 and are projected to hit $195 billion in 2023. By 2027 the numbers get crazy — the global gaming market’s projected value is $314 billion.

eSports, or competitive gaming, is its own industry — and projections put the eSports ecosystem on track to hit $1.8 billion by the end of 2022. In eSports, the revenue comes from sponsorships and advertising.

For both — individuals and eSports, cheating is a huge problem, but in eSports, the financial impact is enormous. And it affects the entire industry because frustrated players stop playing, stop watching, stop caring.”

“The great thing about Cyberlete is it works in any context. A single player can go to Cyberlete.net and use it, but a tournament organizer can also use it for an event. It’s scalable, and it’s for everybody.”

Cyberlete is flexible and can work with other developer anti-cheats.

“Cheating is a big problem that all game developers are facing. Steam and Riot are amazing companies and are doing their best at the cat and mouse game of anti-cheat vs hackers. We are poised to be able to work in addition to any anti-cheat these companies might be using.

We can verify users with the Know Your Player process, a biometric process will verify the users so users know when they’re playing casually or competitively, they’re playing a real user and that user is that said player. While using our software these players allow Cyberlete to reward them for mouse and keyboard data while playing their favorite game. This data is then processed in our Cyberlete AC Artificial Intelligence Cloud (CACAIC).”

Cyberlete isn’t only for gamers—because a better gaming experience benefits fans and entertainers, too.

“The eSports triangle represents the full journey for gamers. Gamers have a few paths to travel. Most will start casually playing video games while enjoying the company of real life friends, family and be newly tapped into resources of online communities. You eventually start watching gaming content of specific games you enjoy to learn more or to generally for pure entertainment. Some of the players become entertainers because of how good they’re at the game they’re playing, while some are just entertaining and a joy for users to watch. We are creating a platform that encompasses the understanding of a gamers life because Cyberlete is built by gamers for gamers.”

Cyberlete rewards gamers for playing, for social responsibility, and for sportsmanship.

“The $LEET token is required to participate in the Cyberlete ecosystem.

New users will receive $LEET tokens — from the Platform Tokens Pool — as rewards to encourage their journey into the ecosystem. They get $10 $LEET tokens when they complete KYC, $10 $LEET to use our biometric feature, and $10 $LEET to bring others into the Cyberlete ecosystem. Rewards are limited to $10$LEET, and platform rewards unlock as the number of Cyberletes grows.

Once the Platform Tokens Pool is fully distributed, new users will need to purchase $LEET from the open market to participate in the ecosystem.”

Cyberlete is ready for the metaverse.

“We’re excited about the metaverse. There’s going to be so much innovation and creativity happening. Unfortunately, that means risk, too, but that’s where we hope to help. We can be there, keeping the metaverse safe from bad actors, so we can all see just what its true potential could be.

As for NFTs, we’re going to launch our own collection inspired by our comic book that’s coming out soon. We’re even going to make some of them actual Metaverse avatars, so that’s exciting, too.”

We have an exciting roadmap…

Phase 1: Marketing Campaign, Launch beta website on testnet to 10,000 gamers

Phase 2: Promotional tournament event, Creation of league play, Social Interoperability, Metaverse integration

Phase 3: Deploy state channel, Launching Cyberlete 2.0 web3, Activation of economy, Reward Gamers

…and strong partnerships.

“We’re partnered with Finnovant, a provider of blockchain secure biometrics and Ethos Metaverse to secure their metaverse.

Partnerships like Ashbury & Primetrics to keep Cyberlete sharp. Constellation Network is our biggest partner. As you know, we were in the first cohort of the Flight Program, and are being incubated by them and developing our state channel.”

Platform usage — will PS and XBOX benefit?
In the future, we plan on implementing into their systems but first we will need to have conversations with them.”

Integration into already existing social platforms. Could a platform like twitch license the product out?
Yes it’s thru the API calls, its super cool.

Cyberlete is the world’s first fair gaming application powered by Web3 technology. It runs in the background during individual gaming experiences or on platforms of large esports tournaments.
