Cyberlete is here. Cheaters beware.
Introducing the world’s first fair gaming application powered by Web3 technology.
--
If you see the words “gaming” and “web3” together, it usually goes like this:
- Web3 is transforming gaming.
- Web3 revolutionizes gaming.
- The metaverse is the next generation of gaming.
It always sounds like Web3 will fundamentally change everything we know and love about gaming. And gamers? We’ll just have to change along with it.
Considering this is an industry sector currently worth $191 billion, that’s pretty strong language. And gaming popularity isn’t slowing down anytime soon. As Piers Harding-Rolls, research director at Market Data firm Ampere Analysis sees it:
“the year will end well ahead of pre-pandemic performance, and the outlook for the sector as a whole remains positive, with growth forecast to return in 2023.”
He even goes on to say the market is keep growing in 2023, with sales hitting $195 billion.
The way we see it, Web3 isn’t what’s changing gaming. It’s not the problem, but it can be the solution.
Putting Web3 to work for gamers.
Cyberlete saw something different in Web3. Blockchain technology offered a new opportunity to build a better gaming experience for the gaming community without disrupting what gamers love about it.
Being a company built by passionate gamers, Cyberlete knows the challenges gamers at every level face — and we know how they can take the fun out of playing games and developing them.
There are plenty:
Cheating: People get frustrated and stop gaming, which cost the industry — 29 billion dollars in 2019.
Tournament fairness: On-time payments in eSports events remains an ongoing issue.
Gaming identity ownership: Everything from personal information to high score histories can get surrendered in an online gaming community, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Blockchain technology has the capability to confront each obstacle with immutability, speed, and scalability. Paired with our own proprietary technology, the blockchain can protect players and ensure platform integrity, so gamers can compete, have fun, and worry less.
Data keeps cheats out and gives gamers control.
The technology that makes gaming better for everybody shares one common thread running through all of it. Data.
If it’s suspicious data, we have the tech to know it’s someone (or some bot) cheating.
If it’s your data, it’s your data. We have the tech to give you control of it. You own it.
Here’s a quick summary of how our Web2 and Web3 technology comes together to keep cheaters out and give gaming back to gamers who do the work:
- KYC (or as we call it, Know Your Player) process with biometrically verified voice and facial recognition technology from Finnovant.
- Our proprietary cross-platform Anti-Cheat (AC) technology and Cyberlete AC Artificial Intelligence Cloud (CACAIC)
- Constellation Network’s secure and scalable, interoperable Hypergraph blockchain and associated smart contracts.
Players earn rewards.
When players catch on to Cyberlete’s benefits and use our application, rewards will be waiting. We’ll distribute $LEET tokens as players complete the required steps to secure the anti-cheat system and when they bring friends along and more surprises along the way. Just playing your favorite game can be another way to earn.
Make gaming for gamers again.
In our world, Web3 isn’t changing the games we love; it isn’t demanding we play games differently. Web3 technology makes them safer and puts gamers who do the work back at their center, where they belong.
Watch this space for more posts about Cyberlete and see how we’re taking control of the gaming and Web3 experience to put gamers first.
Cyberlete is the world’s first fair gaming application powered by Web3 technology. It runs in the background during individual gaming experiences or on platforms of large esports tournaments.
