CyberMiles Community Update (mid-October 2018)
As our MainNet goes live, Noomi Wallet app becomes available, and we join the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks team in China!
1. CyberMiles’ MainNet is a go!
We’re excited to announce the highly-anticipated release of the ‘Travis’ MainNet. The fully-tested and complete CyberMiles blockchain network is the end result of a year-long development effort. The MainNet will also make good on the CyberMiles’ successful token offering last fall, which raised 84,000 ETH from contributors in more than 110 countries.

2. Introducing the Noomi Wallet, part of CyberMiles’ growing ecosystem
Noomi Wallet, a new player in the cryptocurrency financial services space, debuted this week, becoming the latest CyberMiles partner. Noomi is enabling a better user experience for cryptocurrency holders, with virtual financial asset banking, transfer, investment, and much more.
As of Oct. 15, the Noomi Wallet is available for Android and iOS devices via the App Store and Google Play. This crypto wallet gives users the ability to invest their Bitcoin or Ethereum like fiat , with guaranteed returns, great rates, and short investment periods. (Coming soon, CMT holders: wallet mining so that those without CMT Cubes still can participate in block rewards and staking.) Noomi also has undergone a professional security audit to ensure the safety of the cryptos held by the wallet and the users’ personal information.
To celebrate the release, Noomi is offering a limited-time promotion of zero gas fees on any ERC20 token transaction from a Noomi user to a non-Noomi user. 3. Leveling up on Battle Bracketz
CyberMiles has made it to the finals of Battle Bracketz! After going head-to-head with Waltonchain and claiming a victory over Vechain, CyberMiles now has emerged victorious against Monero.

4. CyberMiles joins the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks team in China
The CyberMiles team, along with 5miles representatives, joined NBA players in China for a series of exhibition games between the Dallas Mavericks and the Philadelphia 76ers. Both teams played in China for the very first time when they met Oct. 5 in Shanghai followed by a rematch on Oct. 8 in Shenzhen.
The 2018 NBA China Games also featured a variety of fan activities, including the seventh annual NBA Fan Day on Oct. 4. The day gave thousands of fans an opportunity to participate in on-court games, watch the Mavericks and the 76ers in skill competitions, and meet with current and former NBA players such as Dikembe Mutombo, Dr. J, Jermaine O’Neal, Jimmy Jackson, and more.
5miles and CyberMiles also hosted a VIP reception for the Dallas Mavericks team, which 5miles sponsors. At the event, team owner Mark Cuban and 5miles founder and CyberMiles CEO Dr. Lucas Lu talked about the future of 5miles, cryptocurrency, and the state of the NBA.
5. CMT migration update
Since we’ve gotten some feedback from holders who haven’t migrated yet, be aware that the CMT Wallet, exchanges, as well as the import function were the only ways to do so.
All ERC20 CMTs should have become permanently frozen and obsolete as of Oct. 9, 2018. The CyberMiles Foundation, along with our Genesis Validators, will proceed to snapshot the ERC20 CMT distribution and launch the MainNet software for migration. Once the MainNet is live, the blockchain will distribute native CMTs according to the ERC20 snapshot. We aim to complete the migration by Oct. 15.
