ILO Calculator Is Live!
Dear DAO Labs community, the Demo ILO Calculator is finally live! You can now try it out in the simulator mode directly on DAO Labs’ main page here. The demo calculator is being specifically designed as a pre-stage version of the full ILO calculator to let users learn how to simulate projected allocation depending on the chosen role and performance delivered.
There will be 10 ILO jobs in total and anyone can pick multiple job positions in the DAOVerse ecosystem. The ILO demo calculator brings the “Micro Influencer” as the first job you can test.
1. Purchasable Allocation Calculation — Part 1/3
Once you select the “Micro Influencer” role as a first step, you will then need to choose the “Social Channel”. ILO brings 4 social networks (Medium, Quora, Reddit, Twitter) you can monetize on. Pick the most suitable one where you have the most followers and where you believe you can deliver the most engagement stats that define your “Bonus allocation”. Demo ILO calculator only supports “Twitter” for now.
Set “Your Number of Followers” from the minimum of 100 up to the maximum of 1000. Depending on how close you are to the maximum cap of 1000 followers set for the “Micro Influencer” role, your “Purchasable Allocation” increases. “Purchasable Allocation” is the value of LABOR coins (or any other future ILO coin) in $USD that you can buy with a stable coin like BUSD. In the example above with 760 followers, you can afford to buy LABOR worth 760 BUSD. 760 BUSD stands for your maximum purchasable allocation, but you can purchase less if you want.
In the ILO the requirement is to deposit 20% of your “Purchasable allocation” to secure the investment reserve. It is a soft-staking requirement, meaning that DAO Labs takes a snapshot of your connected wallet, and never takes custody of your funds, to see if you have enough BUSD secured for a 20% ILO deposit. In the example above, to secure a 760 BUSD investment inLABOR coins you need to hold 152 BUSD in your wallet until the end of the ILO fundraising round.
2. Bonus Allocation Calculation — Part 2/3
Once you defined the number of followers you have on the social media and the purchasable allocation you want, you can proceed to the next stage of “Assignment and Performance”. This part of the demo ILO calculator consists of Reputation, Likes, Shares, and ETA.
Here is a quick recap of DAO Labs’ performance metrics:
Reputation represents the quality of a user’s contribution. Reputation = allocation. Without the Reputation you are not eligible for the ILO workdrop. You need to have at least 0.5 Reputation points as a minimum requirement. With the maximum Reputation of 5.0, you get a double bonus allocation.
Likes stand for the appreciation metric. For example, users taping the like icon on Twitter bring you likes . The more likes you get the more “appreciated” your content is considered to be.
Shares stand for the number of times your followers or other users have shared your content on the social network. For example, in Twitter shares = retweets. This metric allows DAO Labs to monitor how quickly your content gets viral as people spread it other the internet.
ETA stands for the estimated time of action. DAO Labs introduces 3 tiers of ETA. Submitting activity within the time range set for ETA 1 guarantees a 100% bonus allocation multiplier. If it takes you longer time to deliver the activity, then you end up in ETA 2 (70% of the bonus) or ETA 3 (40% of the bonus).
3. Total Reservable Allocation — Part 3/3
This is the final step of the demo ILO calculator that shows the “Total Reservable Allocation” you can get based on your performance stats. Play around with the Reputation, Likes, Shares, and ETA numbers and you will see how considerably your “Bonus allocation” can change.
