My name is Rebecca Wu. And I’m Henry James, and we’re writers for Dark Sides of the Truth magazine.

Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V, Part VI, Part VII, Part VIII, Part IX, Part X

After a sizable, but unfortunate for some of us in the group, healthy dinner, we all booked rooms at a local chain motel and said our goodnights.

We had no idea what Saturday would bring other than a heightened sense of urgency and a frenzied pace of activity as we tried our best to get ahead of Dwayne Macy, A.K.A. Paul Simpson.

One thing we all knew for certain. He wasn’t finished playing his game and he wasn’t finished toying with us.

The plan was for everybody to meet in the breakfast area of the motel on Saturday morning. A car was to pick us up, take us back to the FBI field office and meet with a tactical team then head out to the USS Arizona memorial.

“Morning gents.”

“Morning, Henry.”

“Manny, do we have time for breakfast?”

“Yeah, there’s cereal and milk over there, and some fruit and danishes. Help yourself.”
