Datawallet Partners with DATA, Datawallet at NOAH Conference, Full CEO Speech & More
Dear Datawallet Community,
This already marks the 20th Weekly Community Update and we are getting closer to the beta release with each update! Everyone in the team is working heads down on getting all the different parts ready — the platform itself, the right enterprise partners on board, refining the launch strategy, and making sure everything fits together perfectly. We also have some more exciting announcements for you leading up to the release. Until then, here as always our recap of the week:
Datawallet Partners with DATA
This week we officially announced our partnership with DATA. Besides showing you a video of Co-Founders & CEO’s Serafin Engel and Franklin Song discussing the partnership (Korean subtitles are currently being added), our press release also explained what we will be working on together: A user-driven advertising network. DATA and Datawallet’s vision is to allow users to power advertising exchanges with their own anonymized data. This model puts users in control, allowing users to decide which advertising platforms can have access to their data and empowering them to profit from the hundreds of billions of dollars currently made by companies selling this data about users without their consent.

Datawallet Telegram Sticker Set
We recently held a GIF/Sticker contest, asking the Datawallet Community to create GIF’s & Stickers incorporating the Datawallet or DXT logo. We would like to again thank everyone who participated and submitted some amazing, funny and weird designs!

Datawallet at NOAH Conference in Berlin
Part of the Datawallet team attended NOAH Conference in Berlin this week. Among the speakers were UBER CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, Deutsche Telekom CTO Claudia Nemat, Al Gore and many others. Given the recent launch of GDPR — Datawallet’s mission of giving control over their personal data back to the individual while providing a tool for companies to ethically source higher quality appealed to many of the attendees & companies. Many conversations were initiated that will hopefully lead to fruitful cooperations in the near future.
