Datawallet in the media
The past week Datawallet’s Alex Yergin was interviewed by Steve LeVine for Axios on data ownership. “We are trying to break down walled gardens, and Facebook is a walled garden,” Aley said. “We are trying to disrupt the whole data ecosystem.” Read the full article below:
Jeffrey Wernick, the newest addition to Datawallet’s Board of Advisors also had multiple appearances in the media last week — with his involvement in Datawallet being mentioned. Read and watch Jeffrey’s thoughts on bitcoin below. Jeffrey also was the headline speaker for Huobi at multiple events recently. You can watch his talk given at Blockchain Festival Vietnam here.

What’s to Come in the next few months
As you all know we have been hard at work on our BETA platform — which will be released this quarter. We are excited for this release as it more closely resembles Datawallet’s vision of giving control over one’s personal data back to you, the individual. And we can’t wait to share it with you. Leading up to the release we will run a marketing campaign. Part of it will involve hosting a giveaway campaign targeted at the crypto community, while another part will be targeted at general user acquisition. With Datawallet’s aim to become the data-layer of the internet, a wide adoption is of paramount importance and will benefit all stakeholders. Thus, with the release we are aiming to bring users from all demographics on board quickly.
After an initial on-boarding period, our new PR agency Edelman is now also in full swing and will support us on the media front, with events and content going forward. Our business development team is negotiating with multiple corporates to bring on board as launch partners for the BETA, while also being in talks with companies for further partnerships. Our development and data engineering team is working on adding more fun things to do within the app, adding to the simple analyses we had already included in our Alpha version. With our growing development team we will also be able to iterate much more quickly on the platform, adjusting it to the needs of both users and enterprises. The second half of 2018 is shaping up to be an exciting one for Datawallet and we are happy to have you all along for the ride. If you have further questions please contact the team via our official Telegram Group or stay up to date with the most important news via our official Telegram Announcements Channel.
