dcSpark Fund8 Proposal List
dcSpark is a crypto ecosystem builder company focused on building tools and solutions for crypto ecosystems like Cardano. As many of you know, the Cardano community is a relevant and important community for our organization and that’s why we wanted to share some updates and future goals.
About Us
dcSpark was founded one year ago, but before that we always had a strong connection with Cardano. As a crypto ecosystem builder, dcSpark was officially founded a year ago by ex-EMURGO members Nico Arqueros, Sebastian Guillemot, and Rob Kornacki. During this process, we have worked on delivering many products and contributions to the Cardano community.
Some of them are:
- Flint Wallet: A friendly light wallet for DeFi and NFTs for Cardano and Cardano L2s like Milkomeda, with support for Japanese users.
- Fracada: A fractionalization tool for NFTs a.k.a Native Assets on Cardano
- Support and improvement of the Cardano Rust SDK
- Creation and coordination of CIP-30, dApp Connector Standard for dApps and Wallets on Cardano.
dcSpark has also made contributions for the Cardano ecosystem to become more interoperable with other networks like Ethereum, Polygon, etc., through their work on Milkomeda, the first Layer 2 solution on Cardano for EVM-compatibility. This development has led to the arrival of stablecoins like USDC and USDT and other high-value assets such as WETH, WBTC, AVAX, etc., to be used in DeFi in the Cardano ecosystem.
What proposals do we have for fund 8?
In all of the achievements made by dcSpark for the Cardano ecosystem in less than a year, the funding and support from the Cardano Community through Project Catalyst has been one of the biggest avenues for aid to build and maintain products for the community. The last funding round of Project Catalyst attracted a great number of votes for dcSpark’s proposals in Fund 7 which allowed the company to continue to contribute to one of the best ecosystems and communities in the world of crypto.
