dcSpark Fund9 Proposal List
dcSpark is a crypto ecosystem builder company focused on creating tools and solutions for crypto ecosystems like Cardano. The Cardano community is an important and relevant community for our organization and we’d like to share some recent updates and future goals.
About Us
dcSpark was founded on April of 2021 by ex-EMURGO members Nico Arqueros, Sebastien Guillemot, and Rob Kornacki; hence we’ve always had a strong connection with Cardano. In the last year, we’ve continued to deliver many products and contributions to the Cardano community.
A few of them are:
- Flint Wallet: A friendly light wallet for DeFi and NFTs for Cardano and Cardano L2s like Milkomeda, with support for Japanese users.
- Fracada: A fractionalization tool for NFTs a.k.a Native Assets on Cardano
- Support and improvement of the Cardano Rust SDK
- Creation and coordination of CIP-30, dApp Connector Standard for dApps and Wallets on Cardano.
- Carp: a new modular indexer for Cardano with an SQL Postgres backend and replacement for db-sync.
dcSpark has also contributed to the Cardano ecosystem in becoming more interoperable with other networks through our work on Milkomeda C1 —an EVM-compatible sidechain that is part of our vision to build Layer 2 solutions that provides EVM capabilities to non-EVM blockchains.
What proposals do we have for fund 9?
In all of the achievements made by dcSpark for the Cardano ecosystem in the last year, the funding and support from the Cardano Community through Project Catalyst has been one of the most significant avenues in aiding the building and maintaining of products for the community. The last funding round of Project Catalyst attracted a great number of votes for dcSpark’s proposals in Fund 8, which allowed the company to continue contributing to one of the best ecosystems and communities in the world of crypto.
