Join us in our fifth episode of DDIGITT Behind the Seams on “Taking Fashion Shows into the 3D Digital Realm”, hosted by Zil Vostalova and Evelyn Mora.

Zil is a 3D Fashion Designer combining traditional craft with skills in various computer programs. Zil developed a philosophy of a PhyGital Fashion. This approach understands a digital garment as an individual entity equally recognized as a garment sewn physically from fabric. Physical-world can benefit from the digital and vice versa- as a tool in the process as well as a final product. This approach is an evolution that the sustainable designer of the 21st century embraces. Digital fashion design introduces the next form of work, communication, and presentation in and of fashion and should not be compared to traditional craft or linear fashion business models.

Zil has a conversation with Evelyn Mora who is a Finnish entrepreneur, strategist, and sustainability consultant. Evelyn is a keynote speaker, lecturer, and mentor based in Paris. She is also the Founder of the world’s first recognized sustainable fashion week HFW and Global Waste Matchmaking Marketplace Wasted International. And most recently DIGITAL VILLAGE, a Metaverse where all Digital Asset, Buying, Selling, Trading, Showing, and Networking are interlinked where she also developed the first global and open Digital Sustainability report and guidelines for more sustainable cyberspace. Evelyn became the first digital twin of a real human on Blockchain with her avatar “KIMI4 KAWAI”.

In this conversation, they discuss what it takes to take a Fashion Show into the 3D Digital Realm and how this new way of presenting Fashion is shaping a new paradigm of collaboration across professionals and a new way to access Fashion experiences.
