Introduction to Decals
Traditionally, decals are designs printed on stickers with the purpose of being transferred onto an item such as glass to give it a better aesthetic. In DEFY, we have digital decals of various designs available that can either be purchased using $DEFY or earned in-game and printed onto Virtual Private Masks as a way to further customise an Operative’s avatar to stand out from the rest.
You can expect different types of decals to be made available on a seasonal basis as time go on, including limited edition designs and some obtained exclusively as a reward associated to specific events.
Decals Tiers, Supply, and Pricing
The first series of Decals will be split into three different tiers: Common, Epic, and Mythic. Common decals are made to be widely available with no fixed supply limit, while Epic and Mythic decals come in limited quantities.
Common Decals
- Total of 23 different designs available
- Cost 100 $DEFY each
- No fixed supply
Epic Decals
- Total of 5 different designs available
- Cost 300 $DEFY each
- Limited supply of 150 decals for each design
Mythic Decals
- Total of 3 different designs available
- Cost 800 $DEFY each
- Limited supply of 50 decals for each design
Exclusive Decals Rewards
Be rewarded with special decals for your contributions to the DEFY revolution!
The following decals will be airdropped for free to all Operatives who took part in the different Alpha Missions.
Note: Operatives need to have pledged at least 1 FCOIN to qualify for the airdrop of each Mission reward.
Additionally, a special decal will be rewarded to Operatives who take down at least 100 drones throughout the course of Alpha Mission 4.
Note: The existing leaderboards for drones destroyed will be reset at the start of Mission 4.
Purchase Decals In-App with $DEFY
Operatives may find decals for sale within the in-app Black Market found on the main screen.
From there Operatives may browse through the various decals available for purchase from each tier.
Applying Decals onto Uprising Masks
Decals may be applied onto masks over at our mint site. The site will go live on 23rd July at the start of Phase 1 minting and will remain open for users to apply decals to their mask anytime they desire. Users minting a new mask will be able to add decals onto them immediately after the minting process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these decals on my Genesis mask as well?
No, decals may only be applied on Uprising masks and beyond.
Is there a limit to how many decals I can put on the same mask?
You can apply up to a maximum of 2 decals for the Uprising masks. This may change for future generations.
Can I remove the decal and apply it back on again as and when I want?
Once a decal has been applied onto a mask, it cannot be removed. You will be able to apply a new decal over an existing one if you would like to change its appearance again, however, that would result in the old decal being removed and non-recoverable.
Can I buy the decals and save them to use on a future generation mask instead?
Yes, decals purchased will not come with any expiry date and may be applied on any new generation of mask if you desired to save them for later.
Can I keep and choose to sell my decals to others at a later time?
Yes, all unused decals are tradeable and thus having the ability to sell them to others.
