This article will provide you some options on how to get started with Blockchain, Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies if you have no idea where to start off. It is always hard to know where you should start to learn if you have no idea about a topic and may have only heard about it in the news, from friends & family or wherever it might be. You also don’t want to fall into the trap of pump’s & scams, which can be a big problem and is particularly present in the Crypto field. But if you are careful this won’t be a problem.

Cryptohunt.it

Cryptohunt website for learning Blockchain

This site provides basic “courses” about the topics Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies and manifests them with small quizzes, afterwards. If you read carefully you will be able to answer these questions with ease. In my opinion it is a good starting point for everyone that has only heard the terms “Blockchain” and “Cryptocurrencies”, but if you are familiar with the basics, there are also courses for intermediate or advanced users, as well as some history lessons.

Articles

There are articles that can provide lessons on Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies. The problem with this is to find the right one to start with, which is not always easy. You can look through blogs or through Medium and look for any easy explaining articles. But it still might be hard to find the right one. You can take a look in the following article: https://medium.com/hackernoon/wtf-is-the-blockchain-1da89ba19348 which provides a step-by-step explanation. You could also just use Google and find some articles, which might be a bit harder to understand at first. An example of it is this one: https://101blockchains.com/blockchain-for-beginners/ . There are tons out there, just try to start with one you find easy to understand and not get bored by.

Youtube

A probably more interesting to follow and easier method to educate about Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies might be Youtube or videos in general. In this case you also need to find the right one, that does not hype up or wants to sell a product. A few videos explaining these topics are listed below:

You can just start exploring the whole Youtube library for these topics, normally the most easy to understand and well explained videos are the ones with the most clicks. You might also find a gem that is lesser known, in that case, let me know. 🙂

Central Exchanges

A word you will most likely come across if you go into the rabbit hole of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. These are most likely big companies such as Binance, Coinbase, FTX, Crypto.com, which you might have seen in some ads from sports events or something similar.

Some of these CEX’s (Central Exchange) provide some content for example Coinbase Learn (https://www.coinbase.com/de/learn).

Coinbase learn website

Or the Binance Academy (https://academy.binance.com/en) where you can also earn as part of your learnings.

Binance academy website

These might be a bit more specialized content, but if you feel curious and confident give it a try.

Use it

The best way in my opinion though and the fastest to get to know Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies is to use it. This will need some basic knowledge of course, for example how to use a wallet, how to send cryptocurrency, how to use dApps and so on. But if you start using these applications I promise you that you will learn faster than by just watching videos or reading articles.

That is all from my side, have fun in the Crypto rabbit hole!
