Welcome to Bondscape — an app that redefines how we connect, engage, and create memories. Begin your journey by seamlessly downloading the Bondscape app on your trusted Android or iOS device. The onboarding process is designed for simplicity — register effortlessly using your Google or Apple account.
After selecting up to 5 interests from the suggested topics for your experience, you will be redirected to the creation process of your new Desmos Profile inside Bondscape.
The integration of Web3Auth service ensures a secure creation of your Desmos Profile, a wallet-based decentralized identity across various blockchains running on Desmos Network.
A secure and cutting-edge authentication method
In essence, Web3Auth streamlines the user authentication process offering a secure and user-friendly approach to identity creation and verification. Because of the way Web3Auth works, the user private key associated with the Desmos Profile is broken into 2 parts:
- 5/9 is managed and divided across Web3Auth network and can be accessed through an OAuth login provider owned by the user, like their Google or their Apple account.
- 4/9 is stored on the user’s device and secured with a choice between password or biometrics.
Like existing 2FA systems, users must prove ownership of both shares to retrieve their private key, ensuring total security for their wallet.
Precisely for this reason, the first step required by the application will be to secure your data by choosing a passphrase, so that no one can have access to your personal information even by taking control of your device.
Time to craft your social identity
Once the authentication is confirmed, the very first step is to create and customize your own Desmos Profile, the pseudonymous identity that will be the key to discover the full potential of the app. Personalize it with a nickname, dtag, profile picture, cover image, and bio to get started. Your Desmos Profile will be your virtual passport to a world of events and connections with new friends.
The reason we decided to give birth to the Desmos Profile, is to provide users with an authentication method similar to Google single sign-on on Web3, so that a user can later log in to all applications developed using Desmos Network through the same profile.
Not sure about the fields you entered? Don’t worry, any information in the Desmos Profile can be edited later from the profile page.
Explore Events and Secure your Entry
As you step into the app, Bondscape homepage it’s a dynamic hub where you can effortlessly explore and join events tailored to your preferences. When you find an event that catches your attention you can simply press on it to view the details specifically.
Within the event’s detailed screen, immerse yourself in a rich experience. Scroll through the list of fellow participants, gathering insights into the community joining the event. Explore comprehensive event details, from essential information to any additional insights thoughtfully provided by the organizer. And when you’re ready to make it official, claim your ticket seamlessly, securing it inside your tickets page.
You can also like events that captivate you, adding them to your list of favorites for easy access when you’re looking for something about a past event or about a future event inside the event collection page.
Manage your Tickets Effortlessly
Discover all your event tickets in one centralized hub — the Tickets Page, accessible with a simple tap on the upper-right corner button. Users can view and manage every ticket they claimed on this dedicated page, with the added convenience of using them by simply pressing on the desired ticket. Upon pressing, a QR code will be generated, serving as your digital key to event entry. Display this code at the entrance, unlocking access to the events to which you’ve eagerly registered.
Bond with new Friends and Create your Social Graph
Unlock the potential of on-chain connections via the QR code button at the top right of your profile page. Here, you can view the unique QR code associated with your profile.
Creating a bond is simple— press the central purple button, scan the QR code of another user, and voila! Customize your bond by choosing which contacts to exchange, be it Telegram, Gmail, or others, all managed directly within the app. Complete the bond experience by capturing a photo to associate with your newfound connection.
Your bond network is more than a connection; it’s the foundation of your on-chain social graph. This not only enriches your experience within Bondscape but extends the opportunity to bring friends and followers to other applications built on the top of Desmos protocol.
