DevCareer is working with Dataquest to provide access to structured course content for data enthusiasts. The scholarship is for 3month and guarantees free access to premium content on Dataquest.
Who can apply for the scholarship? How do I know the scholarship is ideal for me?
The scholarship is open to existing members of the #data-science-python channel of the DevCareer community alongside the general public who can demonstrate significant progress in their pursuit of data skills. The scholarship is right for you if you a pursuing a career in the following fields: data science, data analysis, or business analysis. It is ideal for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. How do I apply?
We would announce an application link via Twitter, Slack, and LinkedIn where you will be able to sign up for the scholarship.
What does the test look like?
Questions will be fetched from Edabit. The quiz is meant to test your elementary knowledge of the subject. Following the application, we would deliver a study kit to your email to help you prepare for the assessment and the next line of action.
Can I use my phone?
Yes, you can. Dataquest does not have a mobile app at this time. However, the content is mobile-friendly; you can read and watch videos on your phone but when it comes to solving challenges, using a phone might not be flexible compared to a laptop.
How many people are you accepting for the program?
We would run the program in batches. Kindly note that an indication of interest is not a guarantee of acceptance. If you are not onboarded in the first cohort, there will be another cohort.
