Meet Daria Chuiko — Writer / Journalist / Business analyst

Daria is an ideas generator at heart. She is in love with language nuance, storytelling and public relations and has been engaged in media marketing for the past 3 years. Daria first realized the needs of the mobile professional when she was traveling and teaching Music, English and Chemistry in China. At the Coliving Club Daria reinforces the team by exploring and writing about the culture of coliving, freelancing and digital innovation that is reshaping the global business environments.

What got you interested in the project?

Well…I hate routine. I hate when you have to sit on your chair and count minutes till the end of the work day. One day the co-founder Max Schevtchenko told me: “Do you want to work for a global project, to know more about the world and discover new interesting things?” Of course I answered yes! And day by day this work becomes more exciting!

What is your main goal here?

Knowledge! Every day I go through more and more interesting information. And I don’t want to stop!

I can definitely say that it is a dream work — to explore the world and write down your thoughts about it.

Do you remember the moment when you realized that writing was your thing?

Yes! And it was when I started working in the Coliving Club. The co-founder Kirill Sopot offered me to some articles about traveling and people. And you know what? That was fantastic! I can definitely say that it is a dream work — to explore the world and write down your thoughts about it.

How do you combine creativity and discipline?

Hm… should I? I think in my profession the more creativity the better is the content!

Can you share about your hobbies and the best way to fit in all the activities in your schedule wisely?

Hobbies… There are so many. Singing, dancing, playing instruments, reading articles. Time management is not my best skill, and my work day can be a mess. There’s only one rule — “Work first”.

How do you relate to the digital nomad lifestyle?

I think the most attractive aspect of the digital nomad life is the renewed sense of freedom. You can say goodbye to the constant sound of printing and annoying office small talk and spend your life traveling to exotic destinations. It is a way of life that combines work and travel; it sounds like a win-win situation, doesn’t it?

What are your dream places for living in the near future?

I love Asia, еspecially the South of China! But I’ve been there already. So I want visit all the countries in the near future and I will decide as I go.

I think the most attractive aspect of the digital nomad life is the renewed sense of freedom.

Any travel advice you can give from your own experience?

I was traveling a lot, and yeah, I’ve got some tips. The first and the main is to check the weather in the country where you are going to and prepare all the clothes needed. Also make sure to take a powerbank with you. Don’t forget about medicine, especially if you’re going to Asian countries, because there aren’t many places where you can find the right ones named in English.

What is your biggest inspiration?

I can definitely call myself an aesthet. I love everything beautiful and elegant, starting from paintings and architecture and ending with notebook covers. But the main source of inspiration for me is music. My whole life is tied up with it — a huge number of performers I listened to, a music school, working with a musical band. Music has always helped me in everything. It works!
