The 01Node team has been part of the Cosmos Network from the early days. They have been part of the blockchain space for a long time and they have all the qualities that we look for in a validator: the know-how, the experience and a dedication for providing quality service.

When and why did 01Node join the Cosmos ecosystem?
We’ve been following the development of the Cosmos Network from early on. We saw a lot of potential and promise in their vision and the team, so we decided to become an investor and then join the testnets iterations. Running our own validator was the natural evolution, so we were one of the genesis validators when the Hub launched.
What is your main differentiator as a validator?
Safety and performance. We are constantly striving to improve on these two vectors and we believe that it takes just a quick look at our track record to confirm it.
In order to provide a secure and trustworthy service to our delegators, we constantly optimize our infrastructure. We use bare metal servers, gigabit connectivity, performant epyc servers, with a touch of software security and DDoS protection, covered by sentrys.
We were amongst those who participated in the Game of Stakes and were rewarded with the uptime leader’s title. We’ve started with a promise to become a serious player in this space and we‘re constantly delivering on that promise.
Why should ATOM holders redelegate to 01Node?
We know that we are a serious, reliable, and performant validator. We also know that does not make us unique and there are other validators that also make significant efforts to provide great service.
That being said we are very good at what we do and we have a deep respect for the trust that is put in us by our delegators. That’s why we don’t compromise when it comes to performance. We use only bare metal servers, colocated in tier-3 datacenters for our validators.
With more than 10 years of experience in DevOps and security services, we’re confident that we’re a solid partner for any delegator looking for a secure and professional validator.
It’s also good to note that we have skin in the game. We are investors in all the projects where we run a validator, so our incentives are well aligned with our delegators, in that we strive to provide a high level of quality and reliability.
What is your approach to governance?
We’ve participated in all the governance proposals. When it comes to voting on governance issues, the proposal must pass 2 filters:
- Does the proposal help grow or strengthen the Cosmos Network?
- Does the proposal benefit our delegators?
We consult with our delegators, especially when we feel that a particular proposal can affect their interests or their position in the ecosystem. We’re active in the most important communication channels and keep a close eye on everything Cosmos.
How have you contributed to the Cosmos ecosystem?
We’ve been part of the community from early days and we’re always available to contribute and help out if our expertise allows it. We introduced the concept of buckets delegation, which allows you to delegate to multiple validators in a single transaction, and a tool to facilitate it.
We also developed Cosmos Delegator, a delegation tool that makes it easy for ATOM holders to delegate to the validator of their choosing.
What should delegators expect from you ?
We aim for security, performance, and high availability, those are our main focuses. We’re also becoming increasingly interested in contributing to the proliferation of the Cosmos Network by making it easy for newcomers to use, understand, and interact with Cosmos.
