Major News

This month, DOS Network completed core development of and successfully launched the Data Stream Services. It is now live on the Huobi HecoChain mainnet and is providing low-deviation threshold price oracle services for the BTC/USD, ETH/USD, HT/USD, DOT/USD and DOS/USD pairs. The team began handing assets to security auditors for comprehensive feedback and evaluation, a major milestone in preparation for the upcoming release. In the meantime, our technical documentation is being updated to reflect the latest changes to ensure a flawless development experience for those looking to onboard with DOS.

With the success of the Data Stream on HecoChain mainnet, we will switch gears to conduct more integrity tests over the next couple of weeks and touch base with our data partners and clients to collect feedback on the new feature and update accordingly the Data Stream service landing page.

Security

The DOS Network team has also begun an initial review of the codebase with the newly established auditing team. With data integrity and security top of mind, we have scoped out all the major components and artifacts that should be scrutinized by the upcoming security audit process. In case you missed it, we have a public Bug Hunter program and we encourage smart contract professionals to help discover vulnerabilities with financial incentives.

Product

We are now getting ready to launch DOS Network Data Stream on Binance Smart Chain. An internal battle-testing and code audit are currently in progress and full deployment is imminent.

We also overhauled our internal development processes and tools to ensure that we are adopting best industry practices. Concretely, we have migrated our previous build and deployment pipelines to GitHub Actions, smart contract development workflow to Truffle and developed various scripts to automate tasks, including the assembly of call data sequences and consolidation of data sources, among others.

Marketing

The DOS Network rebranding efforts have begun in earnest and we will be providing more frequent updates on these initiatives in the coming weeks. You can expect to see prettier fonts, more presentable and professional branding and more!

Starting with the comprehensive monthly update from DOS Pulse, the new CMO Michelle Chiang will be leading the marketing team to ensure transparent and two-way communication with the CommanDOS community. You can expect regular marketing events, including joint AMA campaigns, DOS Meme Competitions and Ambassador Programs on both Twitter and Telegram.

Personnel

Several new team members have joined the DOS Network family.

Michelle Chiang is DOS Network’s new Director of Marketing and will be in charge of all marketing, advertising, and external-facing efforts. She is currently based in Taiwan and has a massive blockchain network in the APAC region for us to tap into.

Our team is excited to onboard Arpit Kamath, who has joined us from The Force Protocol, to architect our server infrastructure and improve our security practices. Arpit will be reporting to CTO Jerry Liu.

Cecilia Weng is our new community manager and customer support lead. Her duty includes building and maintaining the DOS Network brand’s community, public perception and handling support requests from users.

DOS Network CEO Jian Wang was on leave for personal reasons and has since returned to his leadership role in full capacity. We thank the interim leadership for steering the ship in the meantime.
