Inkslinger Magazine Newsletter #21
September 2023
Hello all and welcome to Fall! (well, here at least in the Northern Hemisphere. I guess I should wish Happy Spring to those that are in the southern half of the planet!).
This is my favourite time of year — when it’s cooler but not too cold, and the weather is usually still fairly nice — still lots of sunny days. It’s also my favourite season as a runner! Again the temperatures are perfect for running outside — not too hot, not too cold. It’s a great Goldilocks situation! Also great for just getting outside for some fresh air in general — going for nice walks or bike rides or however you want to move your body outdoors!
Without further ado, welcome to your September Inkslinger Magazine Newsletter where I share all the writing that I’ve done throughout the month in two categories.
- What If — these are 9 short pieces written using my Scenario Cards as writing prompts. Thought provoking questions to get you…well, thinking about yourself, your life, your world. Feel free to answer the question posed in the comments when you read these! They can be difficult or challenging questions to answer.
- Nonfiction — this month’s 12 non fiction offerings are mostly to do with my health/fitness and weight loss journey — which includes my reignited love of running, which I’ve now been doing for almost 3 months already!
So here you go.
What If
What if you could change other people’s perception of one of your qualities or characteristics?
What if you could relive the single event or experience that has built your character the most?

Until next time, friends!
