As the working week comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the things that contribute to our resilience and help us to thrive (not just survive) through this period of uncertainty.

Thinking — positive, flexible, abundant, hopeful vs negative, fixed, deficit, hopeless

Focus — forward looking, what is important vs backward, external noise, trivial

Energy — vital, alert, agile vs stressed, sapped, frenzied

Drive — inner, motivating, confident vs external, reactionary, fearful

Relationships — connected, communicating, support vs alone, retreating, unsupported

We are bound to go back and forth and that’s okay.

Man never made any material as resilient as the human spirit. Bern Williams

Taking time to reflect, to adjust and adapt and to practice self-care is vital to our overall wellbeing, now and always.

The weekend might just be the perfect time to do so.
