Drip Oracle “Widgets”: All Your Drip Information in One Place

We just launched a killer feature that empowers you to easily put all your most important information in a single view- our new widget dashboard.

But first, if you are new to Drip Oracle- the multi-wallet dashboard for Drip, you need to get caught up with our existing features: Faucet/Garden Notifications, Wallet Importing, Exporting, and Linking. Likewise, please consider following this publication to stay up to date on future product enhancements, which we explain in detail via via medium posts. Additionally, join our telegram announcement channel to be notified of product updates via telegram or hop right in to our customer support group to ask us questions, share ideas, and talk with other Drip Oracle users.

Now, let’s dive into the new widget dashboard, which brings you next-level customization in how you manage Drip.

The point of widget dashboard is to be able to customize your dashboard exactly how you want it. Everyone plays Drip differently: we all have different numbers of wallets, different strategies, and participate in different projects, such as the Faucet, Garden, Animal Farm, and Piggy Bank. The widget dashboard is your canvas to create your ultimate data-views that serve you based on your goals in these projects.

The above orientation is the default view. You can change this to your liking.

If you are thinking, “I wonder if I can drag all those widgets around, and set their sizes to my liking?”, then we have good news: you can, and you should.

Additionally, you can configure each widget- each has its own settings, as indicated by the gear icon located in the top right of the widget.

Adding new widgets

It’s simple: click on the ADD WIDGET button at the top right of the dashboard. This is how you’ll access the catalog of widgets available to choose from to add to your dashboard.

There are three categories of widgets to choose from:

  • Token Prices Widgets
  • Single Wallet Widgets
  • Aggregate Wallet Widgets

Let’s start with what Token Prices Widgets:

Token Prices Widgets

Choose from a widget that displays a single token price, or multiple.

The Token Price Widget displays a single token’s price. You can set the widget to display the price of Drip, BNB, BR34P, Drip/BUSD, Pig, or Dog once you add it to your dashboard. On the other hand, the Token Prices Widget shows multiple token prices in a single widget, which you can also configure.

Here are screen shots of both of them:

The Token Price Widget shows a single token price, and can be configured via its own widget settings.
The Token Prices Widget shows multiple token prices in one widget. You toggle which tokens to display in the widget’s settings.

Single Wallet Widgets

These widgets display data from a single wallet, which you set in the widget’s settings. You can display either your Drip holdings or your Garden holdings.

Aggregate Wallet Widgets

These six widgets display data from all your wallets. These widgets are powerful- they show you important totals across all your wallets in one view, which can be interpreted at a glance. It’s the best way to see totals across all projects and wallets, as well as totals for a specific project like Drip, Animal Farm, or the Garden.

Choose from six different aggregate wallet widgets.

Check out the configurable options for the Drip Totals widget:

Each widget has a variety of settings. Play around with them and make them your own.

Widgets based on Screen Size

Here’s something you may find very useful: you can configure widget layouts based on six different screen sizes. For instance, on mobile, you can set your widgets one way, and on desktop, you can add different widgets and position them another way. This way, you can customize your data you want to see, and your overall dashboard experience, based on the device you are using or the size of the screen you are viewing.

Go ahead, set different views for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Make it your own.

Here’s what the default mobile-view looks like:

The default mobile view removes the Single Token Price widgets and instead displays Aggregate Wallet Widgets. You can of course customize them how you like.

Important: to edit the order of the widgets on mobile, click the Edit toggle direct center and on the top Dashboard toolbar. This allows the widgets to become drag and dropp-able. When you are done arranging them how you’d like, toggle it again to lock the widgets in place.

What’s next?

This release has 10 core widgets available for you to choose from the widget catalogue. We intend to add more widgets to the catalogue. Future widgets will include visualizations, more insightful metrics, and and more interactivity with the widgets themselves (like the ability to claim/hydrate directly from a widget itself). Get ready for more widgets so that you can customize the heck out of your dashboard.
